HiLight image quality

At the heart of the HiSpeed CT/e is the patented GE HiLight detector. The result of many years of research and development, the HiLight detector provides industry-leading image quality at low dose.

Patient-conscious design

Scan a wider range of patients comfortably and easily, with improved productivity, patient comfort and workflow. Compact system design, for ease of siting and easy patient access. Wide, comfortable table with a 400 lb weight limit, allows you to scan a more varied population. Automated breathing lights guide patient breathholds to minimize patient motion. Voice instructions are available in multiple languages, or you can record your own customized instructions.

HiLight™Detector

Since its introduction, this GE patented polycrystalline ceramic scintillator is proven to capture and convert X-rays with extraordinarily high dose efficiency. The HiLight detector helps you achieve remarkable contrast at low dose.

Applications

3D. Detailed 3D models of complex anatomy can be generated quickly and easily.

MPR. Multi Planar Reconstruction allows the operator to examine the anatomy in sagittal, coronal, oblique and curved planes in real time.

MPVR. Multi Planar Volume Reconstruction allows the operator to perform a thick slab MPR and apply a MIP projection and/or a MinIP projection.
